The tower is a symbol of major crisis, upheaval and momentous change. A raging storm dragon hovers amidst skies of flashing lightning, poised to annihilate what man has constructed. This represents the concept of renovation and rebuilding after destruction. This is connected to death, rebirth and order from chaos.
Sometimes we build ourselves up, only to be torn down. Our bodies are a temple, but sometimes it comes under attack. The structure of our spirit emerges stronger and is reassembled from the rubble of our former selves.
When the tower topples, old patterns, behaviors, and habits that no longer serve us collapse as the ego falls away. This creates space for a new architecture of meaning in our lives. A fresh foundation is laid and we erect a new tower stone by stone, until the dragon of storm comes once again upon the wings of change.
Reversed: Refusal to let go or learn from mistakes, resisting change, delayed growth, unacceptance.
